Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is a vacation timeshare division owned and operated by Disney Vacation Development, Inc. a subsidiary of Disney Parks and Resorts, a division of The Walt Disney Company. One of the great advantages of being part of the Disney Vacation Club, especially with the increase in the number of visitors, is that you will be able to book your accommodation before anyone else (up to 11 months before the general public in your main Resort).
This advantage will allow you to enjoy regular Disney vacations practically guaranteed, even in high season like Christmas and in the most demanded resorts.
It is important to note that during the entire term of the contract the DVC points and the leasehold interest itself belong to the owner, who can manage it freely.
This means that Disney Vacation Club members can acquire additional points, sell the points they will not enjoy in a given year, and even transfer the real estate title to their descendants in case of death (I know, it's not too "magical" to talk about these issues, but it's an important advantage)!
